Railroad Tigers – A Comprehensive Review

Train to Busan was nominated for eight Academy Awards, including Best Picture. It’s a psychological thriller/love tale/adventure about a haphazard relationship between an South Korean soldier and an American civilian. Sung-ho Jeon (Kwon Sang-ho) is an American GI who lives in South Korea. Due to his trauma at the time of war and his frequent hospitalization, he often had to be admitted and was without a companion. Soon-hee (Kwon Suk-woo) A beautiful young girl from his hometown, becomes his first companion when he returns to the USA. They fall in love and become pen pals.

The film starts in the late 1980s. He meets her at an eatery and leaves to go home. Later in the day, he arrives at her home and they have an intimate candlelit dinner. Their friendship is strengthened when Soon-hee relates her past and he shares with her his past experiences in the military. They go to a cafe later in the evening, and Soon-hee gets drunk. She asks him to take her home.

The film then follows their marriage and courtship. Soon-hee becomes agitated by Sung-ho’s endless questions about her life as well as her love life and background. Park Myung-se who is the director of the Korea Railroad, soon catches him. He also harasses her with his unwelcome ideas about sex. Park takes Sung-ho into custody for trespassing along railroad tracks However, Soon-hee’s father decides to press charges because of the use of alcohol and drugs Park has inflicted on Soon-hee.

Park is sentenced to two years in prison, but Park is allowed to complete a portion of his sentence in Geo jail. There, he makes friends with Baek-min, another Geo inmate. Baek-min tries to run away from his criminality, but he is captured by Park and released after serving only a couple of years. Park makes acquaintance with Ah-joo, another prisoner, as they are serving their sentence. Soon-hee discovers Park attractive, and decides to help Park escape from prison. However he realizes Park has returned to his criminal ways. Park is then able to escape but is captured again by Hyung-joo, Park’s friend. Park then discloses his plan to release the captured heads of victims of the railroad accident to them in the Geo Jail.

Park then begins his plan to dismantle heads and use to slay criminals. Park uses his new skills to create several weapons, including a rocket launcher and a heavy-duty chainsaw. He soon discovers that the villains also have weapons like a handgun as well as an assault rifle. They’ve become a formidable force that seems unexpected.

Park then unleashes his plan to free the prisoners who remain by shooting laser beams out of his eyes at the criminals who are swarming along the prison walls. Park’s plan to free remaining prisoners is complicated by the fact that the ray he releases causes an enormous explosion that causes injuries to both prison guards as well as criminals. But soon enough the next batch of prisoners is freed by the prison authorities who escort them to the guard post. The criminals however arrive just in time to see the guards being killed one by one.

Park then launches his next plan, which he plans to shoot Kim as he’s on the move with his new weapon. However, Park is unaware that his intended target is actually a police officer in motion. Kim then shoots and kills the policeman and escapes. With this success, he now has full control over the railroad company. The movie ends with the group of survivors trying to find a way to escape from the Geo jail. ดูหนีัง Meanwhile, Park is struggling to adjust to his new life after being rejected and shunning by his family. He’s decided to follow his dream to become director.

This movie is based on the Korean drama “Korean Railway Tigers”, which was a huge hit worldwide. The plot is excellent, the acting is superb and the special effects are amazing. This film will definitely be among the most anticipated films in 2021. It has everything to be a huge success!
